This is kind of a hidden gem, and seems to be frequented mostly by locals (and those who look for cafes on Instagram maybe). It's in a weird spot well off the beaten path, that's for sure. Great interior, really attractive, roomy, with pretty good seating options for any size party. Huge windows, great natural light, good music played at just the right volume. Coffee is fine. I've not tried the pancakes (their specialty) but I probably will next time, they look quite good. Service is professional and no-nonsense.One of my favorite cafes in Daegu, but just way out of the way so I don't go there that much. Like a lot of photogenic independent cafes in Daegu, this place is popular with young women. This general area is called Samdeok-dong and it is kind of up-and-coming...a great area of town to walk around in, with lots of trees, a couple of historical buildings, and a few different cafes, restaurants, bars, etc. spread out over several blocks. I have looked around this area quite a bit and keep discovering new places, but this is still probably my favorite, maybe because I like bigger, more spacious cafes...many of the others around are very small. Check it out, and check out samdeok-dong before it gets ruined by big chain places or too many people...because it probably will.

A cafe located at samduk area. The place is very big but they only have 6 tables. I had a café latte and it tasted like chocolat. Nice atmosphere and liked the music they play. There is a cat in the back yard.
