The Deokpo Community Buffet, as I like to call it, is a humble little family-run place which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in the form of a Korean buffet. (Closed Saturday dinner time.) Invariably there are a selection of kimchi’s, a soup, rice, assorted other side dishes and then a main item such as fried fish, port cutlet or bulgogi. Even if some Korean food items are not for you, there’s plenty of variety to sustain even a bear’s appetite. Between servings, the cook works away preparing evermore fresh, local produce. It’s healthy, wholesome and cheap (₩7000). it’s interior is the only thing stopping this from being a 5* review, but I wouldn’t change it as it is all part of the charm.
