No surprises here, and that's more or less the point. Gisan is the kind of Chinese-Korean restaurant that every neighborhood needs — unpretentious, familiar, and reliably there when you need it. Nothing on the menu will stop you in your tracks, but the bokkeum-bap dishes are a cut above the rest and worth ordering. Simple, satisfying, and honest about what it is. Not a destination.
