First of all, it’s not sea eel — it’s hagfish, which has a crunchy, chewy, slightly gelatinous texture, and it’s really delicious. I recommend the straw-grilled eel and the spicy one. The side dishes are also very good. The staff were kind and showed us how to eat each dish and which sauces to pair with them. You can even watch the staff prepare the eel on CCTV. Price per person: ₩50,000–60,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The 집불곰장어 has a bouncy and chewy texture and it is a good expirence to see and listen to the sizzles. The 양념곰장어 had a little bit spicy, tangy and addictive sauce paired with the chewy 장어 (eel) and vegetable and it is truely recommended. After you finish eating all the food from the 양념곰장어, you can have fried rice after mixed with the spicy sauce which is a cherry on top. The complementary 김치전 taste very good.
