Didn’t try their espresso but their filter/pour-over coffee was excellent. Great coffee selection (I tried the Sumuk house blend which was a nuttier, milder coffee—and the Costa Rica which was a bit more lively, fruity, with hints of floral/nutmeg action). In Korea, it’s really easy to find an americano or other espresso based drinks, but if you’re looking for a great pour-over option in Gwangju, this is a great place. Each pour-over costs about 7,000–10,000KRW (which translates to far less than what I’d pay in LA for a pour-over: at least $8-$9!). Also, their interior design was quite lovely, stylish, and beautiful. The mood was very intentional (light jazz in the background, most things black and white, etc). It’s a nice space to enjoy coffee. And the barista was kind, detail oriented, and courteous/quick! They even heated up my coffee cup/mug before i drank hot coffee from it, which is a nice touch I haven’t experienced in a minute. (Again, attention to detail) Note: I learned that in Korea, pour-over coffee goes by a few different names: pour-over coffee, filter coffee, hand drip coffee, drip coffee (at local Starbucks locations, goes by “brewed coffee”)
