Stopped at this place for lunch to try their pork soup. It was delicious, and the staff was so attentive and accommodating that even despite the language barrier, managed to make me feel at ease. Very recommended! Meal type: Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

넉둥베기 feels like the kind of place you don’t overthink—you just arrive, sit, and eat. We went in the morning, drawn by something simple: a proper bowl of black pork soup. What came out was anything but simple. A deep, cloudy broth—thick, rich, almost velvety. The kind that settles into you and warms you from the inside out. Jeju’s black pork is known for its tenderness and depth of flavour, and here, it shows itself fully—clean, full-bodied, and quietly powerful. Then the meat—generous, unapologetic. Falling off the bone, soft without being mushy. You don’t fight it, you just follow it. The pork belly skewers were just as satisfying. Lightly charred, slightly smoky, with that balance of fat and bite that makes you slow down without realising. Nothing complicated—just done right. It’s the kind of meal that feels like comfort food, even if it’s your first time having it. And the space reflects that. Unpretentious. No excess. Just a steady rhythm of people coming in, eating well, and leaving fuller than they arrived—not just in stomach, but in spirit. There’s also something to be said about the hospitality.
