An incredible spot to enjoy authentic Korean Ssambap! If you are looking for an authentic and delicious Ssambap experience, this is the place to go. Ssambap is a traditional Korean dish where you wrap meat and various side dishes in broad, fresh leafy greens, similar to a Korean-style taco. Even as a local, I find the quality here truly impressive. You can choose your main protein—such as spicy stir-fried pork (Jeyuk), squid, or boiled pork slices (Suyuk)—to wrap in those fresh leaves. One of the best features here is the showcase near the entrance, where you can freely help yourself to a wide variety of fresh greens, including perilla leaves, lettuce, cabbage, and more. It’s wonderful to be able to enjoy as many vegetables as you want! The side dishes are standout, too; they taste much more like wholesome, home-cooked food compared to your average restaurant. Every set menu comes with a spicy and slightly sweet doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew), which has a deep, savory, and bold flavor that pairs perfectly with the wraps. If you want a truly filling meal, I highly recommend ordering an additional buckwheat pancake (Memil-jeon). While beer is always an option, I think this food pairs best with a glass of dongdongju (traditional Korean rice wine) or soju. This is a branch of the main restaurant located in Yeonhui-dong. While the menu is almost identical, please note that the buckwheat noodles available at the main branch are not served here in Yeonnam-dong. The crowd here consists mostly of locals, and I didn't see any other tourists during my visit, but this is exactly the kind of place that visitors would absolutely love to discover. If you want to taste authentic, hearty Korean food, I highly recommend checking this place out! Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
