This bakery sells a good selection of bread and cakes. We bought the olive and mozzarella ciabatta (₩3,500), banana cake (₩5,000) and the whole wheat bread (₩12,000). I find that most of the breads are reasonably priced except for the whole wheat bread. However, the owner—a lady—told us that the wholewheat bread contained 80% whole wheat flour, wine and dried fig. She even voluntarily sliced a loaf to show us without requiring us to purchase. We purchased it based on her recommendation and we were impressed with the flavor and texture. It was soft and fragrant despite containing 80% whole wheat. The fig gave it a nice burst of sweetness. The banana bread was moist and fragrant while the ciabatta was soft with pops of olives and cheese. The shop had several containers with small pieces of bread for customers to taste and the lady owner was very enthusiastic about letting us try the various pieces of bread when we inquired. If not for her friendly and welcoming demeanor, we might not have purchased anything. All the breads looked freshly baked and delicious so I definitely recommend and will return to buy other types of bread next time.
