— Cosy nengmyeon & gomtang restaurant in the Mapo neighbourhood. The lady was really friendly and instructed us how to eat nengmyeon seeing that we were both overseas Koreans, gave us plenty of radish kimchi and broth too throughout. The nengmyeon is a seasonal menu item only served during summer, which was just what we needed in peak summer weather in July. We got the individual bibim nengmyeon (bi-neng for short) with yukhoe (raw beef) as additional topping. (Photo by annopano)

I went to Dohajeong Gimpo main branch over the weekend. The soup had the best flavor and the boiled pork was tender and delicious, so we were both satisfied. The potato pancakes were crispy and savory too! I had a pleasant meal in a spacious and clean atmosphere and the staff provided good service. Highly recommended!
