A Truly Unique Local Gem in Gurye! Donga Sikdang offers a rare combination of Boiled Ray (Gaori-jjim) and Pork Trotter Soup (Jok-tang) that you won't easily find elsewhere. The Boiled Ray is incredibly tender, topped with a generous amount of crunchy chives—the seasoning is mild and clean. The Pork Trotter Soup is a revelation; unlike typical pig's feet dishes, it’s served in a clear, refreshing broth with no gamy smell at all. The atmosphere is that of a classic, rustic "Nopo" (old-timer shop), complete with flavorful side dishes typical of the Namdo region. It’s great value for money and perfect for those seeking the "real taste" of Gurye. Note: The service is blunt and typical of a local joint. They almost turned us away because they ran out of rice, but we managed to get our meal by offering to bring our own instant rice (Hetbahn) from a nearby store!
