ホンデにあるとは思えないくらい静かにお茶が飲める場所です。 かわいい茶器がたくさんあって、購入したいと思い手に取っていると触らないでと怒られました。 観光客も多い場所なので注意書きを英語で書いてくれたら良いのにと少し残念な気持ちになりました。 ちょっと怖く感じたのでもう行かないです。. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ₩1–10,000

We stopped by after 8pm and it was empty but very peaceful and nice!! The lady guided us through how to steep and serve each of our teas, and they were all very good. Would definitely come again, especially for a break in the hubbub of Hongdae

This is a gem of a business. I don’t know how it isn’t more busy, but selfishly I enjoy that because of how peaceful it is! I’ve been on a tea kick for over a year now. So on vacation I visited many tea houses on a month long trip in Seoul and Singapore. Dulecha was by far my favorite. I spent many afternoons sitting in their shop drinking tea for a long time. The interior is beautiful, cozy, and well lit. The street Dulecha looks out on is quite peaceful as well and great for people watching. The owner(s?) were both very kind when I went in. They don’t greet loudly in English or anything but you can read the menu and order off of that and when I asked the man for instructions on how to best brew the tea, he gave me clear directions and showed me visually. The format for how they serve the tea is great. You get a hot water carafe which keeps the water hot for a very long time. You get a teapot with the leaves in it. Then you get a strainer, a jug to pour the brewed tea into, and a tiny teacup to pour from the jug into for drinks. It is all clear glass which makes it fun to watch the tea leaves and appreciate the color of the tea. I don’t know if this is a common way of serving tea or not but having gone to 6-7 tea houses in the last month in Seoul and Singapore, this was the only tea house that served with this method. It also made just sitting there for over an hour, brewing my tea and listening to music and people watching, into a very special experience. I love this shop and will dearly miss it.
