Having been living in Jeju for 3 months with my Korean partner, I was pining for some decent Aussie comfort food. DILLY is hands-down the best "Western style" cafe we visited in Jeju. A quaint, cosy little venue - small but clean, bright and oozes a lovely retro vibe. Service is quick and friendly. The food was excellent: we had the mushroom toastie, mushroom soup and the pancakes. The toastie was delicious with fresh ingredients, hot and crispy toast and perfectly melted cheese. The soup was creamy but not too rich. It was served with a small drizzle of truffle oil - we both have an aversion to truffle but it was easily scooped off and did not affect the flavour. The pancakes were the highlight: hot, freshly made with perfect amount of maple syrup and melted butter. They were absolutely delicious and I wish other Korean cafes which offer pancakes would take note because Dilly just nails their pancakes - two thumbs up! We enjoyed the food so much we ordered one of their new "Sloppy Joe" toasties which we are saving for a snack tonight! We got the Maple Bacon Sandwich, Sloppy Joe Sandwich, Pulled Pork Sandwich and the Buttermilk Pancakes. All three of us collectively agree all the food was a 12 out of 10!It was all so yummy!! Lovely atmosphere, nice and cozy when we can on a cold rainy day. Plus the staff were friendly and could speak English as well. Super easy ordering system on an iPad which had an English option too just like the menu. Very affordable as well, all 4 food items plus 3 drinks came to 54,000 won, about $56 AUD. This would cost twice maybe even triple the price back home in Australia. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
