Stumbled across this place when walking around looking for food on my first night in Seoul and I don't speak a word of Korean but the self-service kiosk had all the menu options in English. While a bit tricky to deal with, the problems were purely down to the language barrier. The food was promptly brought to our table and just hit the spot of what we needed and was a good price too. It was nice and quiet and the lady at the counter was very kind despite our obliviousness to what she was saying. Will certainly go again and would recommend. Price per person: ₩1–10,000

Exit at Sookmyung Women's University Station (Line 4). There's a bus stop right in front, and after crossing the traffic light, the restaurant is immediately there. If you're new to Korea and want to try authentic Korean street food (bunsik), this is a great place to visit. The basic menu items are the same foods that Koreans commonly eat. I'm Korean and love squid, so I ordered the Stone Pot Squid Rice. It came with chives and was really tasty. I recommend it if you enjoy food with a moderate level of spiciness.
