This bakery cafe offers a variety of veganized bakery items, mostly scones, cookies, brownies but also plain, toast-like bread (식빵). Their selection changes day by day and they have a couple of curious items, such as perilla leaf scone, vegan cheddar cheese scone or black sesame brownie. The drinks, however, are made with cow's milk by default and some of the (e.g. powdered) ingredients also contain dairy. You have to specify if you need a vegan drink and then have a choice between soy and almond milk (without additional charge) for beverages featuring milk. The bakery items looked interesting and I wish I could've tried more. It was a bummer that all bakery items were packaged into plastic. I got a scone for take-away and it was soggy, but dry and crumbly inside. It must have been better when it was fresh and not packaged into plastic.. They also offer housemade waffles made fresh upon order. Their batter contains chick peas and is very dense and filling. Not my personal preference, but an interesting attempt at making vegan waffles... The interior is bright, clean, comfortable and warm, which invites for hanging out. There is a lot of space for sitting.
