Ryeoin is a lovely mom-and-pop restaurant in Haebangchon, tucked away from the main street on a hill. The owners are really friendly and hospitable - the lady was happy to help me figure out what to eat, considering I have dietary restrictions and the menu was entirely in Korean. The food itself was delicious. I enjoyed their pan-fried shrimp and mentaiko bowl. It was clear that the materials they were using were fresh. I distinctly remember eating the cucumbers and thinking how crisp and fresh they were. I came back multiple times when I was living in HBC for a bit - it's definitely a late-night must for those in the area. The hours on Google are wrong though and need to be revised - I remember on weekdays they closed at 11:30pm rather than 1am (though I could be wrong).
