Visit this restaurant for a break and degust nicely cooked udon. Most guests mark that the staff is knowledgeable here. The enjoyable service is a great advantage of 면장우동. As a number of visitors state, the atmosphere is homey. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this place deserved 4.2.

Overall Rating: (3.0 / 5) I visited Myeonjang Udon on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 PM. The atmosphere was calm with K-pop background music, making it a decent spot for solo diners. [Menu: Chiku-tama-ten Bukkake Udon - 14,000 KRW] * Noodles: The highlight of the meal. The portion was larger than expected, and the texture was impressively chewy and firm. * Sauce: The bukkake sauce leans quite heavily on the sweet side. While it starts off well, the sweetness builds up, making the final few bites feel a bit heavy and greasy. * Toppings: The Chikuwatten (fried fish cake) was crispy and well-seasoned. The Tamagoten (soft-boiled egg) was perfectly runny and great for mixing. However, the combination of fried toppings and the sweet sauce was a bit overwhelming towards the end. [Service & Ambiance] The staff wasn't particularly friendly—just neutral/minimal service. It wasn't a bad experience, but don't expect a warm welcome. Summary: The noodle quality itself is excellent, but the flavor balance was a bit too sweet for my personal taste. If you enjoy a sweeter style of Japanese udon, you might like it more than I did. 면장우동 is one of my favorite udon shops the place is managed well and clean also I like the calm mood inside along with classical interior I recommend "붓카게 우동" which is chewy and jelly like texture it's inside of the alley I'm sorry I can't visit the store offter because It's in Seoul
