Visited Taecho Galbi at 4:30pm on a Thursday and were the second table seated. Located on the 6th floor in Myeongdong, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with English music playing in the background. We ordered the Taecho Set, which was a good portion for 2–3 people. The beef was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the dipping sauces — flaky salt, wasabi, and a tasty garlic sauce. Service was excellent. Disposable aprons were provided, and the staff helped BBQ the meat, cooking it well done as requested. The banchan, including kimchi and perilla leaves, paired well with the meal. Thoughtful touches like dental floss and disposable mouth-rinse cups in the restroom were also appreciated. Overall, a great dining experience and worth a visit in Myeongdong.
