Mongsan Coffee is a roastery and specialty coffee shop that served me the best cup of coffee I have ever had. The way they choose their beans, roast them and extract them feels on the level of serious competition work, yet it is happening inside a quiet local shop. The cup that stood out for me was the Colombia El Diviso Ombligon Natural. It had a clear blueberry note that was so clean and vivid that it stopped me in my tracks. You only taste something like that when every step has been handled with real care and skill. Mongsan Coffee keeps things simple, but the quality is exceptional. If you enjoy fruit forward specialty coffee or want to see what a truly well executed natural can taste like, this place is absolutely worth visiting. This is coffee excellence.
