Although you cannot eat within the premises of the establishment, the taste of the food fully negates that inconvenience, as long as you take the short walk to the nearby park, where seating aplenty exists to accommodate your dishes. Our group of visitors ordered four rolls of tuna kimbab and a set of dumplings. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: You will have to ask about the true extent of the vegetarian menu, as some kimbab owners sell kimbab that contains ham, but other kimbab owners sell imitation crab meat as a substitute that vegetarians might comfortably eat. Dietary restrictions: The menu, despite its length, has a selection that will satisfy most customers.

Very cute and authentic family run restaurant. The Kimbabs are superb ! As you can see in the picture, they use very little rice compared to the rest of the ingredients. I usually get a Tuna Kimbab here but the normal Goongchae (Veggie) Kimbab is good too. If you are around, you should definitely give it try !! I find this store much better in taste, quality and the larger Kimbap chains and I think i also get a much better deal than from the newer fancy chains, such as Otto Kimbap or Kim Seonsaeng. Yes, the quality of Kimbaps at these two are usually better than at Kimbap Cheonguk. However, the Kimbaps costs me there 6.000-6500 KRW. Here, i get a similar quality for 4.500 KRW since it is not a large franchise but a small mom&pop store. Just trust and give the Tuna Kimbap a try !
