The bok-jiri (pufferfish soup) had a clean, delicate broth that was both refreshing and comforting. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The deep-fried pufferfish (bok twigim) was crispy on the outside and juicy inside—rich in flavor and expertly prepared. What’s important to note is that only certified restaurants in Korea are legally allowed to prepare pufferfish. Fokcheong is a licensed specialty restaurant, so you can enjoy your meal with peace of mind, knowing it’s safe. If you get the chance, try the hire-zake—warm sake infused with grilled pufferfish fin. It adds a deep, savory aroma and elevates the dining experience. From food quality to service, everything was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authentic and safe pufferfish cuisine.
