I ordered and tried somaeri gukbap (ox head soup with rice). The taste of the food was not particularly special, and I couldn’t notice much difference compared to other seolleongtang (ox bone soup) specialty restaurants. The broth of the somaeri gukbap was hot, well-brewed, and tasted decent, but the amount of ox head meat included was too little. The kimchi and kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi) were fresh, well-prepared, and tasted good. Overall, the portion size was quite small for the price, so I had to drink every last drop of the soup and eat a lot of kimchi and kkakdugi just to feel full. The quality was good, but considering the small portions, I hope they take this into account. I wish for this restaurant to become a beloved place for locals, not just a stop for passing customers. Real traditional seollongtang (ox bone soup). They only sell a 100 meals of this a day so come early if you want to try it. They open at 8am but at least 20 people were already seated even before that. They sell one more other limited item ugeoji soup that’s even more limited at 30 meals a day because it’s the outer leaves of a cabbage. The ox bone soup I tried had a milky and clean flavour and you can add salt to the soup to make it more balanced. The wasabi soy sauce goes well with the meat (no gamey flavour) Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
