If you're a pasta lover you must try Volta! We stumbled upon the place as it was close to our air bnb. It's small, unassuming and out of the busy area of hongdae but within walking distance. We ordered the truffle pasta and a bottle of wine. We also loved the tiramisu. The standard of cooking here is very high, and the price very fair. This would cost a lot more in my hometown of Melbourne. Atmosphere is very cosy with bench seating and low lighting. Thank you for such a memorable meal! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ₩30,000–40,000

I was so fortunate to stumble upon Volta. What a gem! The owner single-handedly did it all—cook, clean, and pour drinks. The food was so impressive and definitely one of the best I had while in South Korea. The space may be small but it’s quaint and cozy and made the experience that much more special. For anyone seeking a delicious comforting meal, I highly recommend stopping by! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
