I've been to this restaurant multiple times since living in Seoul, and it is by far the most authentic tasting Canadian food I've tried in Seoul. The space was small but comfortable and welcoming, and the owner was very sweet as well. We had a long chat where she told me of her time in Canada and why she decided to open her restaurant. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to try a taste of Canada, or if you're a Canadian like me who misses poutine. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000

From the moment you step in the doors of this establishment, you will be greeted by the owners’ kind smiles and the delicious smell of authentic Canadian food. During my stay in Amsa, I have had the absolute pleasure of dining at Bonjour Jean Talon multiple times, and each time I left more satisfied than the last. I have tried the majority of the menu offerings and each one is authentic, filling, and delicious. The high quality of the ingredients and preparation is matched by the portion sizes. In particular, the pulled pork poutine is flavorful and filling (and seems to sell out frequently, so be sure to order it!!). The shepherd’s pie is equally satisfying and hearty. For a refreshing, lighter meal, try the jambon beurre paired with the French onion soup. No matter what you pick, you will leave satisfied and fulfilled. The atmosphere at Bonjour Jean Talon is as comforting as its food. The warm wooden tables are complemented well by the slate walls adorned with a carefully-selected collage of western influences and the owners’ own pictures. It is clear that much thought was put into curating the lovely atmosphere, and the hard work that the owners have put into their craft is clearly reflected in their store and in their food. Please be sure to give Bonjour Jean Talon a try. It is well worth the visit and you will leave with a feeling of happiness and satisfaction. The next time I visit South Korea, I will be sure to return for all the goodness that this restaurant has to offer. Thank you Bonjour Jean Talon!!
