I showed up at the restaurant and Lady 1 asked if I had a reservation. I said no, and she told me it was fine as long as I didn’t mind sitting outside. Ok. She set the table, handed us menus, and said to let her know when we were ready to order. So I walk up to the counter, and now Lady 1 is busy. Lady 2 steps in and immediately asks if we have a reservation then tells us that without one, it’d be “hard to order” and the wait would be 30 minutes. We said that’s fine, we can wait. She told us to hold on and then literally no one came back to us for the next 10 minutes. Honestly, what a complete mess. If there were no seats or no way to order, just say so upfront. Don’t seat people and then abandon them. Not coming back.
