We chose to have dinner here due to the tantalising photos of braised fish posted by other reviewers. We were glad we did. We chose for our dinner grilled red tilefish and braised mackerel, and the portion sizes of the dishes that arrived were astounding. Two of us hungry adults could just about finish the tilefish but not the mackerel. The main dishes were accompanied by white rice, radish soup (which was hot and savoury), and about six different types of banchan, most of which we did not recognise but all of which we enjoyed. We particularly liked the radish kimchi and the seaweed banchan! The tilefish flesh was sweet and fresh, and needed very little accompaniment owing to how good it tasted on its own. The braised mackerel was hefty, flavourful, and tender, and - surprisingly - the best part of that dish was the radish that had been soaking up all the goodness of the mackerel braising liquid. Best braised radish I've had in a while. I can't end this review without mentioning the lady boss who took our order, who was kind enough to tell us (via the universal language of kindly aunty tsk-ing) not to order the pork belly set (which we only realised later on was a 2-person serving and not a single-person serving).
