One of the better 오징어볶음 (spicy stir-fried squid) and 제육볶음 (spicy stir-fried pork) restaurants in Daegu, offering a dish with a particularly distinctive and intense spice profile. The 오징어볶음 has a pronounced smoky, fiery character, with a generous amount of “fire” flavour that gives the dish considerable depth and heat. The seasoning is bold and well suited to those who enjoy spicy Korean dishes with a strong, lingering flavour. The squid itself was enjoyable, and the overall dish had a satisfying combination of spice and smokiness. The grilled mackerel, however, was somewhat disappointing in comparison. While adequately prepared, it lacked the same level of flavour and impact as the 오징어볶음 and 제육볶음, and felt relatively underwhelming. Overall, the 오징어볶음 is the clear highlight and makes this restaurant worth considering for those looking for a spicy and flavourful Korean squid dish in Daegu. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
