Visited 성천막국수 and ordered the makguksu along with a half portion of boiled pork. I had pretty high expectations because the restaurant is well known and often mentioned as one of the favorite makguksu places by celebrities. Even when I was leaving, there were still many people waiting outside, so it is clearly a very popular spot. That said, I personally do not think it fully matched my taste. Maybe I am not enough of a food expert to appreciate the deeper style of flavor this place is known for. The noodles were not exactly “not delicious,” but rather extremely mild to the point where they almost felt flavorless to me. People who enjoy stronger or more stimulating flavors might feel similarly. However, the texture of the noodles was genuinely impressive. Compared to any other buckwheat noodles I have tried before, these were especially chewy and had a great bite to them. The boiled pork also paired very well with the noodles and made the overall meal more enjoyable. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
