After visiting Camellia Hill, we initially wanted to try the noodle shop next door, but it was full and slow moving. We decided to walk over to Chef Wa instead, and it turned out to be the best decision!! Everything was delicious, and we finished every dish & left with no crumbs! We ordered the chef’s table d’hôte which comes with grilled black pork, mackerel and seafood soup. The grilled black pork, which was honestly the best i’ve had in Korea. It came with a clear yet naturally sweet seafood soup that was very comforting. The chef speaks excellent English, and both he and his wife were incredibly warm and welcoming. Chef himself came to our table & taught us how to eat haha! Loved the experience and would highly recommend this place. Thank you for the delicious meal! Please do drop by and come and try it for yourself if you’re at the area especially if you’re coming from Camellia Hill.
