Looking for a good place to eat before catching a movie at CGV? Let me make it easy for you. This spot is just a three minute walk away. Seriously close. I stopped by around 8 p.m. on a Saturday and ordered the hamburger rice bowl and tteokbokki for dinner. Simple choices, but done right. The food felt homemade, the kind that’s comforting and familiar. I have a feeling a lot of women would love this place. And a small detail I really liked. They use wooden spoons, chopsticks, and bowls. It brought back a little sense of nostalgia. From the moment I walked in, the place felt good. Cozy and relaxed. There are four or five tables for groups of four, plus a bar seat if you’re dining solo. It’s the kind of space where you can slow down and actually enjoy your meal. One thing to note. The owner cooks everything himself. One person, one griddle, doing it all. Because of that, you order through a kiosk and return your tray when you’re done. Also, they take a break from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., and yes, the lights go completely off. If you want a comfortable meal before a movie, this place is worth checking out. Enjoy.
