OMG!!! Honestly my new favourite place is Busan. SOSA Bakery is a lovely place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Calm, atmospheric, and elegant, I’m devastated that they haven’t expanded to Australia! The matcha, earl grey, and lemon gateau were all delicious and luxurious, you can tell love was put into the making and design of these cakes 10000/10, a must visit if you are in the area!!!

As an American visiting Korea for the first time, Sosa was my favorite bakery I visited over the course of seven weeks (and I visited a lot of bakeries in SK). I’ve never visited a bakery as warm and inviting (or earth-like!) as Sosa, and it has such a unique charm that I think would be difficult to replicate anywhere else. For anyone visiting Busan, I would highly recommend that you try Sosa! It’s perfect for pictures, and it really feels like you’re stepping into a place that connects you with nature and is a part of the earth. I’ve tried many of their desserts — all 10/10 — and they taste exactly like the flavor they’re named for, instead of artificial flavors that you might find in other stores. I would also say that there are some flavors in their desserts that you can’t find in America, so if you’re looking for a Korean experience, this is the place to go! (Not to mention the packaging, which is one of my favorite parts!) While I found many of the bakeries in Korea to be delightful, this one definitely stood out to me the most. If you’re in Busan, I would suggest that you take a detour from the main areas to explore Sosa — you won’t be disappointed!

SOSA is truly amazing! I have never been to a bakery/cafe with such beautiful and unique interior design. The baked goods and drinks are also great, you can tell they put a lot of effort into making delicous goods with great ingredients and presentation. The service was great as well even as a foreigner. Highly recommend!
