Song Kye Ok stands out with a focused, fiery dedication to one thing: grilled chicken, done the traditional Korean way over real charcoal. The moment you walk in, the aroma hits you—in the best way. Smoky, savory, and slightly sweet, it sets the tone for what’s to come. Their signature platter is grilled low and slow, with crispy golden skin and juicy, flavorful meat inside. It’s simple, but executed so well it feels like something special. My son could eat their onigiri like a monster. Their Earl Grey bomb also nice and refreshing. Expect full princess treatment here! They cut, grill and serve the chicken meat for you! Garlic rice was not bad, but a little oily. The chicken thigh was quite fatty, I’d prefer the regular chicken thigh over the spicy one. The tender chicken meat was not too bad, but thigh is definitely the softest and juiciest.
