It was my first time trying wonton noodles, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to, but the experience was definitely memorable. The seafood-based broth with shrimp wontons had a very strong sesame oil aroma from the start, and overall it was much saltier than I expected. The noodles had a slightly undercooked, rubbery texture. The broth itself was thick and smooth, with a bit of richness that felt slightly heavy, but it still had good umami flavor. I mixed the noodles with chili oil, which gave the dish a pleasant spicy heat and helped balance the intense saltiness of the broth.
