shirinicake was such a godsend for planning surprises, even when I was all the way in singapore! reservation process was extremely easy, with quick correspondence over IG DMs. the owner was really patient with all my questions, and helpful when i was having some trouble handling payment. he was rlly kind to help correspond with the airbnb’s host as well to ensure that the cake reached safely and was refrigerated upon reaching, even though there was no one in! it was rlly because of them that my lil bday surprise was successful taste-wise, the chocolate on top was decadent and clearly high quality. the strawberry was also sweet and juicy. the boys had the cake for 2 days in a row! just hearing their descriptionim extremely jealous that i did not get to taste the cake, so i rlly hope i can visit then sometime soon i hope this little cafe much success, and the recognition they deserve

Shirini Cake on Jeju Island was such a great find. The cakes are absolutely beautiful and taste amazing; Fresh, balanced, and not overly sweet. You can really tell they put care into each cake. The husband and wife who run the shop were incredibly kind, which made the experience even better. They took their time, were welcoming, and clearly care about their customers. If you’re looking for a special cake or just something delicious while visiting Jeju, I’d definitely recommend stopping by!

A month has quietly slipped by, so this thank-you comes a little late — but it's no less heartfelt. "Not overly sweet" and "care in each cake" are exactly what we hope people feel, so your words meant a great deal to us both. I hope this finds you well, wherever the road has taken you since. Shirinicake is a hidden gem in the Aewol area. We really loved the cakes and coffee. The manager and his wife were also very hospitable. Jeju really has the best people and we’re reminded why we will keep on going back to Jeju. Thank you, Shirinicake!

It's been a couple of months, so this comes a bit belatedly — but your words have stayed with us all this time. "Hidden gem," and the thought of you returning to Jeju again and again, truly touched us both. I hope you've been keeping well since.
