Absolutely the most high end sushi restaurant I've been to so far. The fish is probably the best quality in all of Korea too. I've been to a few restaurants within the area, but this place blows it out of the ballpark. Make sure to book a reservation in advance because there are only so many seats at the bar, with no other tables. Be prepared because there is no real menu, besides the drink options. The owner himself prepares all of the fish by hand the day he is serving it to you. Taking pride in the art of preparation, he cuts every fish right in front of you once the restaurant opens. Unlike most sushi restaurants, you don't simply order a single dish. You pay a flat base price the same as everyone else. Then each item is served one by one after it's prepared at the counter. With a wide range of fish, from squid, shrimp, tuna, and most things in between. He takes the time to bring up conversation and attend to each individual customer while making every piece of sushi. Taking on a much more individualized and welcoming experience for everyone. Sushi hou is not just a restaurant, it's an experience.
