Beautiful traditional Korean interior that perfectly complements the authentic food. The mackerel was especially flavorful and absolutely hit the spot. Highly recommended if you're in the area! Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

I came here for dinner with a friend who is a local! She mentioned this place is very popular among the older residents, and I can see why. We had the fried octopus in chili paste, which was incredibly aromatic; you could really taste the 'char' from the stir-fry. The cabbage was perfectly crunchy, and the portion size was great value at around 22,000 KRW. The meal comes with a wide variety of refillable side dishes. My favorite was the seaweed, which paired perfectly with the rice. The rice itself is cooked with vegetables for extra fiber, giving it a nice, clean taste. I also really enjoyed the hot Rooibos tea served on a candlelight holder—it was so good I had it refilled three times! The doenjang soup was equally comforting. Overall, this is a fantastic local gem for a solid dinner. Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
