For only 8,000 won per person, the barley rice set meal here was honestly more satisfying than many expensive restaurants I’ve been to. The meal comes with a variety of side dishes, plus grilled fish and a comforting bowl of doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew), making it feel incredibly generous and complete. What made the experience even more special was the warm 숭늉 sungnyung ( boiled rice ) served before the meal. You can also refill the rice, side dishes, and even the sungnyung, which gives the whole place a warm, homestyle feeling. Everything tasted like a homemade meal prepared with real care and tradition. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Korean home-style cooking that feels comforting, hearty, and genuinely delicious.
