Went on 05.06.2023 We were actually super looking forward to having this famous Grandpa tofu and soybean noodles after climbing Achasan, but klutzy us forgot to check the shop's operating hours, and it turned out to be closed on Mondays Googled a 'lil to see what else was around the area, and decided to give this Achasan Soondae Soup 아차산순대국 eatery a try. Very local with old school vibes, and super testing my nursery-level korean So we ordered: - Red Soondae Soup 빨간순대국, which has blood sausages with tender beef cubes, beef intestines and some tendons - Cold Acorn Jelly Soup 도토리묵, which came with chopped kimchi and seaweed BOTH WERE SO REFRESHING TO HAVE AFTER CLIMBING MOUNTAIN, and the soondae soup's taste totally surprised me It was my very first time trying blood sausage and beef intestine, as i don't eat offals due to the smell and taste. This beef intestine was so clean and didn't smell at all, plus i like the slightly chewy texture that went well with the refreshing soup.
