I stopped by this coffee shop while waiting for my laptop to be repaired, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. It was the only option nearby, but I was impressed when I saw they offered hand-drip coffee. I first ordered an Ethiopia V60, which exceeded my expectations, so I followed it up with an espresso. To my surprise, it was the best espresso I’ve had in Korea during my 2024 visit. As a home barista who’s quite picky and has toured numerous specialty coffee shops, I was genuinely amazed by the quality this place delivers. While I don’t eat gluten, so the dessert menu wasn’t for me, the coffee alone makes it worth visiting. If I could give stars in the specialty coffee world like what they do in gastronomy industry, I’d gladly award this place two. P.S. – The workspace felt a bit chaotic, which could be off-putting (or 'dégoutant' as the French say). While the Muji CD player playing a Beatles album added a unique touch, the volume was a little too high. I’d suggest the owner take inspiration from a coffee shop in Tokyo called 'Shi-ten,' where they intentionally don’t play any music, creating a calm atmosphere.
