I don't know why it's rated so poorly. We really enjoyed our experience here. We just so happen to stumble upon this restaurant on the way out of our accommodation. We were looking for a traditional Jeongju restaurant with multiple side dishes and traditional stews. When I first saw the outdoor poster, it was exactly what I was looking for and as a bonus they had marinated raw crab which is something I've always wanted to try. The food was great, I don't know whether it's because we're tourists? One of the soups were cold but apart from that the service was great too. The man some English and he asked whether we wanted more side dishes. Usually people don't ask so we thought that was very thoughtful. We're from Australia where there are a lot of Korean restaurants so we're not that new to the cuisine. What was new in this set was the marinated crabs and fermented raw fish - those I've never tasted before. The amount of food was more than we could finish and we usually eat a lot. Really glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. Also the atmosphere was the traditional style sitting in the floor. Great Korean restaurant experience.
