There is something quintessentially Korean about this place, in the best way. The decor and ambience made me think of what an elegant neighborhood upscale eatery might have been like in the 1960's. I especially loved the eggplant tempura. Definitely unique with great mouth feel and flavor. Best when using the dipping sauce provided. Stepping through the Korean style door, easy jazz music playing in the background Orot's casual yet simple Korean decor accents feel welcoming and comfy. Simple straight forward menu. Kinda home style dishes. The eggplant tempura was crispy and stuffed with beef. 6 tables and bar seating would accommodate maximum 30 customers, and it does get crowded during lunch hours.
