This place is incredible! The food is absolutely delicious every bite was full of flavor. The staff are so kind, friendly, and make you feel right at home. You can really tell they care about their customers. If you haven’t eaten here yet, you’re seriously missing out! I 100% recommend coming, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Today, I was out for a long walk on a lovely day with clean air. As I descended Naksan, I looked at Google Maps and noticed one of my starred places in an unexpected location. It turns out it was Orvieto, and it had moved from Sinsa-dong in the past few months. It was a half hour walk away, so I decided to check and see if it was actually the same business. It is! The owner somehow vaguely remembered me from my first visit in 2019, and asked if I'd written a review. I had! on the former MangoPlate app. I'd been there twice since then with friends, but there had been another chef at the time. Unfortunately, the look of the place is not quite as charming as the original location with its brick façade and lemon yellow walls. But the taste of the food and the friendly service more than make up for that. The owner/chef gave me a complimentary salad, and it was unbelievably refreshing. I then had an excellent avocado bottarga bruschetta, and recalled my first visit with a tasty potato gnocchi. Since MangoPlate no longer exists, here is my original review from October 6, 2019: "Was just walking by and exploring the neighborhood between cafés... looked nice and decided to stop in before the dinner time rush. So delicious! The gnocchi was unlike any I've had before, even in Rome. Probably regional Orvieto style. ^^ The presentation of the complimentary appetizers on a piece of wood is a nice touch. Definitely want to bring friends here, just realize that it's a tiny place with seating for 11 inside and 3 outside.".
