Having experienced many an omakase in Korea, at all price points, I am floored by what we had here. The quality and flavour balance of what we were served was exceptional. Seasonal, local produce. The chef was at pains to tell us what we were eating and worked his socks off to ensure every customer was looked after. Everyone in that room was in raptures by the end of the meal. Save yourself the pretentious pissing about and lofty price tags for sub-par fare found elsewhere in Jeju. Unpretentious, earnest, and talented: this chef is destined for great things. Yesterday, we had a most memorable lunch at this small, 8 seat sushi restaurant. We were served all fish caught locally and very light touch with the seasoning, which we appreciated. We felt that it was a good value and were served many, many courses of nigiri, sashimi, a mackerel roll, soups and broths, plus dessert of berry zambione. We loved the experience and new (to us) types of fish. The hand roll, with marinated abalone, topped with a pile of sushi was the pièce de resistance!
