Do yourself a big, big favour when you’re on Jeju Island - eat at Osteria Haan. Not only is the place spacious inside but it’s also intimate having only 4 tables when we visited. The food is amazing - it’s not mass produced commercial crap; the chef is an artisan (we think he trained in Europe as his dishes have a continental flavour). Anyway, I’m not one to over enthuse about food. The steak was excellent - E X C E L L E N T Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩30,000–40,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We made a reservation to enjoy a special Christmas menu and visited with my wife. Every dish — the salad, soup, pasta, steak, and tiramisu — was absolutely delicious. There wasn’t a single course that disappointed us. This restaurant came highly recommended by the chef of another place we regularly visit. Hearing an this restaurant praised by a chef we trust made us think, “We have to try this.” It truly turned into a joyful and memorable experience. Next time, we’re planning to bring our kids and enjoy a family meal together. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩80,000–90,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
