Tried samgyupsal in Hongdae at Handon Samgyeopsal and it definitely lived up to the hype. The pork cuts were super thick, and once cooked, the meat turned juicy, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. We also ordered their pork kimchi jjigae which was rich, comforting, and perfect with rice. But the unexpected favorite was the cheesy kimchi rice — creamy, savory, slightly spicy, and honestly giving ultimate comfort food vibes. Definitely one of our favorite food stops in South Korea.
