Was exploring the Seogwipo Olle Market entrance along the Junjeong-ro-61 Beon-gil st. Lots of small food stalls and restaurants in the area. Looking for a seafood meal so we walked in this one with an aquarium of fish outside. Like most of the mom and pop stores here which are managed by the owner with 1 or 2 staff... getting a table is not a problem. Its getting served since the understaffed kitchen is backed up and cannot handle multiple orders. Good thing the table before us was already served allowing us to order our lunch. Before we got here the previous store we went into will not serve us even if there are tables available. They have their hands full already so we transferred to this restaurant. Upon ordering prep time took around 20mins. Meals are served hot and fresh. The abalone congee was good. Simple, comforting and flavorful. Grilled abalone on the other hand is also good in fact we ordered another set. The kimchi is definitely fresh and crunchy with a bite. Owner could converse with a little English to get along. Seems grumpy at first but in reality was really busy serving the dishes so minimal chit-chat which is no big deal. She visited our table afterwards to check if we're ok. A nice seafood meal for us on our first time here in Jeju. No upset stomach later on of course unlike other reviews about eating in restaurants along the strip.

Ordered takeaway assorted sashimi (회). We placed our order, went for a bit to wait it being prepared, then came back to a nicely-packed sashimi, it was quick. The fish quality was okay, but I hope they gave more sides, especially the perilla leaf for the wraps. Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
