My wife and I had a special occasion to celebrate, so we decided to treat ourselves to some good Korean beef. After doing quite a bit of research, we came across Umong and decided that if we were going to have beef, we wanted to enjoy it at a truly special place. As soon as we arrived, we loved the calm and cozy atmosphere. Our server was incredibly kind and made us feel very comfortable, which allowed us to really enjoy the quality and flavor of the beef. I especially love sirloin, and it was cooked to the perfect level of doneness for us. When dipped in Umong’s special sauce, the beef practically melted in our mouths! The yukhoe (Korean beef tartare) was also incredibly fresh. We dipped it in the egg that came with it and wrapped it in seaweed, and before we knew it, we had finished the whole plate. My wife and I had a wonderful and elegant evening, enjoying delicious food while chatting together. It was a truly memorable dinner, and we’re very glad we chose Umong.
