First of all, we can get the good out of the way. The food is great. The yukhoe is very fresh and had the perfect texture. This was a new take on yukhoe we’ve never experienced before since it came with multiple sauces to eat with the yukhoe. The seaweed soup was also very tasty. On to the bad. The service was awful. The menu came and the person who was supposed to take our order never came back. We had to ask for our own drinks. After that, I had to wave someone down just to get our order in. We almost left after finishing one beer because we kept getting ignored. Not sure if it’s because we are foreigners and maybe the only foreigners there, but it’s hard to order food if no one comes. The other horrible part was the bathroom. I asked one of waitresses where the bathroom is, she said next to the restaurant. Next to the restaurant was a door that led to a very dark stairway. No signs for the bathroom or anything, so it wasn’t clear that it was the bathroom. We asked again where the bathroom was after coming back inside and the waitress looked very irritated because she had to walk outside and show us where the bathroom was. She yanked the door open to the dark stairway and the motion sensor turned the light on. Not sure if it’s an apartment or a business building that has a shared bathroom with other restaurants. Don’t go in the bathroom if you can avoid it. It’s so extremely dirty. I wish I was a man so I didn’t have to hover over the toilet to use the bathroom. It was horrible. Dirty. Dirty. Disgusting.
