Eunju Seolleongtang – A Hidden Gem for Clear, Rich Beef Soup in Yeouido Tucked away in the basement of the Geumsan Building near National Assembly Station, Eunju Seolleongtang is a long-standing restaurant with over 30 years of history. It’s a popular spot among office workers and civil servants in the area — and for good reason. I tried the grapefruit juice, watermelon juice, and waffle, and everything was beautifully packaged and delicious. You could tell the waffle was freshly baked in-house. The signature seolleongtang (ox bone soup) is clear yet full of deep flavor, with generous slices of tender Korean beef. You can season it to taste with green onions and salt — just the traditional way. If you’re up for something more special, the pine mushroom seolleongtang adds a rich aroma and extra depth. The boiled beef slices (suyuk) are clean-tasting and go perfectly with the slightly sweet soy dipping sauce.
