We got lucky to a last minute reservation for the earliest time in the evening. I came in with zero expectations as I had no idea where I was (my wife did) and I have to say that it is a must visit. Head chef took care of us and explained everything and was patiently letting us take photos of the entire experience. Every bit of each course was devoured with much appreciation and excitement for what was next. Please come by if you have the time and enjoy an exceptional and delicious dinner Price per person: ₩100,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food here is actually quite good and offers decent value for money, as the prices are reasonable. However, the service attitude was truly terrible. Out of all the days I have spent traveling in Korea, this was the worst experience I’ve had at any establishment. I visited on Tuesday, December 16, arriving around 7:30 PM. The front-desk staff member—who was the only female employee in the restaurant—was very hostile and seemed to discriminate against foreigners. (Indeed, the group seated next to me was speaking fluent English, so it was clear there were international guests present). The specific incident began when I first went to pay around 8:20 PM. She ordered me to go back to my seat and wait. I waited for over 20 minutes, but she never came. During that time, I watched two groups of local Korean customers go to the counter; she processed their payments immediately and they left. Meanwhile, I was left waiting. When I finally approached the counter again (my receipt is timestamped 20:41, meaning I was made to wait 20 minutes just to pay), she deliberately pretended not to see me. I had to call out to her before she would acknowledge me and process the bill. Furthermore, the receipt I received just showed a lump sum "Open Bill" (오픈빌) rather than a breakdown of item prices, so I had no idea how the total was calculated. This restaurant is located in an area surrounded by embassies, so they naturally get many foreign diners. To treat guests differently like this is extremely off-putting. I should note that the other male staff in the store were generally fine; the issue was entirely with this one female employee at the front desk. If the owner reads this, I suggest checking the CCTV between 20:20 and 20:41 on Dec 16th to see exactly how this employee treats foreign clients. Given how poor the attitude is, I definitely will not be returning. I advise other tourists to avoid this place at all costs—you are not going to have a good experience here.
