This is a very popular army stew restaurant. I visited during lunchtime, and it was packed with diners. I believe my Korean friends made a reservation in advance to secure a table for us. The army stew was generously topped with Spam and cheese, and the broth was rich and flavourful with a strong kimchi taste. It was a fantastic pot of army stew and is highly recommended for tourists looking to experience authentic local cuisine. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

This budae jjigae (army stew) restaurant is a franchise and is located on the 1st basement floor right by the Office Depot. We went for late lunch and no one was there. We got the pork belly jungol army stew which I believe had six different types of ham. Three servings were enough for four of us with a gyeran-mari (rolled omelette) as a side. The instructions say to mix the rice with some butter and once the stew starts boiling, pour some army soup in your bowl and mix it with your rice! Everything was delicious and it even had free refills on the ramen and rice. I recommend if you’re in the area and looking to try army stew.
